The AG Society is continuing to improve their AG Grounds. We have completed a number of projects in 2025 and are working on a number of projects for 2026 that will improve and enhance our greenspace in the heart of Russell to benefit the Community as a whole.
2025 Projects: (completed)
- Re-tinned and improved the Timer’s Booth
- Added picnic tables for the Pavilion
- Enhanced power to Pavilion
- Added a chute for the cowboy event day during AG Days
2026 Projects:
- Acquiring additional steel panels for AG events
- Repaired bleachers and added step-up blocks
- Repainted the three bleachers at the riding arena
- Designed, purchased and installed new Ag Society signs
- Held two gopher reduction exercises to reduce the number of gophers on the grounds.
